How to Use Clickbank To Learn
Internet Marketing Basics

Time to get you set up with Clickbank, the largest Affiliate Network on the internet, and probably one of the best places to find the secrets from the Worlds Top Internet Marketing Guru's.
You may ask yourself, "Why are we talking about Clickbank if what we sell is Wowgreen?"
The answer is simple. When your parents gave you your first bike, it had training wheels didn't it?
- Clickbank is our training wheels!
It's a place where it doesn't cost you anything to join, they will never ask you for a dime and the information they have there on how to become successful with internet marketing would take you years to sift through.
They are simply there to provide publishers with the resources they need to market their programs. And their resources are Affiliates. US.
- When an affiliate sells a publishers product, the publisher is charged a fee and the affiliate receives a commission.
So without further ado, let's get you started!
First, print this page, if you can, so you can refer back to it in the sign up process, or open a new window and go to Clickbank
You are now at the Clickbank web page. If you look at the top of the page you will see "Promote Products"
Click this tab and you will see an animation of a guy sitting at a computer. Click the 1-5 of "How it Works" to get a brief overlay of what you will be doing on Clickbank.
Now, look above and you will see "Sign Up", click this tab and simply follow the instructions to start your Clickbank account.
Now that you have completed the sign up process you are ready to go to the "Market Place" and get some programs to sell online.
Look at the top of any page and you will see "Market Place", click on the tab to go to the product search page.
In the top left corner of the market place search page you will see a box with the word "Keywords" and an empty space next to it. You will need to type a keyword in that space to search for products. You could type in cars, electronics, etc,. but for our tutorial, let's type in "Fat Loss".
Now a bunch of programs being offered just came up on your screen, lets take the first one and click on the "View Pitch Page" Tab.
Take a moment, read the pitch page and see if this is something you would like to promote. If it is, close the pitch page and click on the words "Create Hoplink".
A new window will open where you will need to put in your new Clickbank Nickname, enter your nickname and click continue. (ignore the tracking link for now, it is something you will use later when you are more experienced with tracking where your ads are doing their best)
You will now be on a page with two link options. Either of the two links will be imbedded with your Clickbank tracking ID.
For our tutorial we will choose the top link, not the blue one, although they both work the same I am going to give you an example of what to do with the link to generate sales.
First to use the codes, you need to highlight and copy the link. You do this by placing your cursor at the beginning of the code and then holding down the left mouse button while passing the cursor over the code. The code will then be high lighted in blue.
Using your right mouse button, click on the blue high lighted word. You will then see drop down options. Click on "Copy".
YOU HAVE JUST CREATED YOUR FIRST HOPLINK!!
When you have identified a product you want to experiment with, simply copy your hyperlink code and insert it in an email.
That is another form of Vial Marketing and you see them all the time in the bottom of your emails!
You can do it to promote your Wowgreen web site, or Wowgreen Blog!

Now, to use this hop link, the next time you get a funny email you want to pass on to your friends, go to Clickbank, copy the code of the product you want to market, and place that code in the email you want to forward to your friends.
- To place the code within your email
First look at the bottom of the page of the email you are forwarding. If you see blue lettering at the bottom of the page pitching something like "Your Credit Score" or "Lose Weight Now", those are hoplinks someone else placed there.
- Remove those and insert your Clickbank code!
- To remove the other codes
Simply place your cursor at the end of their pitch and press backspace until it is gone.
- To insert your code
Type in the words you want to use, high light the word in blue, then look at the top of your email page and look for a broken chain link (usually in front of a world icon).
Click on the chain link and when that page opens, paste your code in the http:// code slot.
- That's it! Your Clickbank code is now inserted and whenever someone clicks on it they will be taken to the affiliate sales page and if they buy, you will earn a commission!
- (I.E. Your Wowgreen Website!)
It's important to know the information I gave you above is just the beginning of what you can do with a "Hoplink Code".
I create my own codes to market Wow Green and I'll teach you how to build those later.
For now, spend some time reading the materials at Clickbank and educate yourself on the other opportunities there.
